The Live Setup

I arrive with fresh ingredients and prepare the traditional “upside-down” masterpiece right in your kitchen. We layer fragrant spiced rice, tender slow-cooked chicken (or lamb), and golden roasted vegetables — eggplant, cauliflower, and potatoes — all infused with warm spices like cinnamon, allspice, and the beloved 7-spice blend.

The Grand Performance: The Art of the Flip

Everyone gathers around as the highlight of the evening unfolds. To the beat of a traditional drum and the rhythmic tapping of the pot, I perform the theatrical flip — unveiling perfectly layered, steaming Maqluba in one dramatic motion. It’s dinner theater at its most fun and flavorful! (Lamb version available upon request.)

Investment

All-inclusive pricing (fresh groceries, travel within the St. Joseph / SWMI area, setup, performance, sides, storytelling, and cleanup included):

• For 4–6 guests: Chicken $850 | Lamb $1,050

•  For 7–10 guests: Chicken $1,200 | Lamb $1,450

Travel fees may apply for locations more than 45 minutes from St. Joseph. A 50% deposit is required to secure your date, and custom quotes are available for larger groups or special requests.
